Sylhet, as there is no institutional institution for fine arts or other arts, The Sylhet Art and Autism Foundation was formed in 2012 in collaboration with the district administration. “Sylhet Arts College” was established in 2020 through “Sylhet Art and Autism Foundation”. The College is located at Kumarpara in Sylhet city and has one acre of land in the town.

I sincerely remember that the founding principal Arvind Das Gupta gave a lot of effort to establish this college and was sincere towards the college till his last breath.

At present Sylhet Arts College has departments of Fine Arts, Music, Guitar, Drums, Keyboard and Tabla and very soon Dance, Drama, Recitation departments will be added. I think the success of the future will come with the cooperation of all.
